A rather brash-looking young man, clad in a tight blue suit with hints of the famed legend cockily rubbed his nose with his thumb. Standing right next to what seemed to be an entirely blue Blue Falcon, with one foot on it, he presented the image of a boy-band dream date.

"That's right. I'm Captain Falcon's son," he said, stuffing a hand in his pocket. "You met him before, right? Well, I'm going to enter the next Grand Prix, and run circles around him. In fact, the other guy--Andrew Watt? He's a fraud. The REAL Captain Falcon died a long time ago."

"Oh," a twin-tailed woman said, "I'm so sorry to hear that--"

The pretender's mood changed. "Oh course, I'm here to avenge him. But, I just don't think anyone can compete in F-ZERO. I mean, you're a fan and all, but royal or not, there's no way you can surpass Falcon...and I am him!"

    "A-amusing! Simply amusing!"

    "What's so funny?"

"If you're Falcon's, shouldn't you have already surpassed him? That old Wheeler guy did before."

"G-gah!" Instantly, the young man wore a scowl on his face. "Well, if you think you're so good, how about taking me on?! One lap and all bets are off!"

"Fine," the woman said, crossing her arms under her noticeably large chest. "But so you know, I'm only here to have fun."
----------------

Kent Akechi, the man in blue, claiming that he was Falcon's son, was strapped in the Falcon MK-II, a vehicle designed to outperform the Blue Falcon. He never accepted that "Captain Falcon" won at Fire Field, and infinitely believed that his father needed to be vindicated for this masquerade.

His opponent was an eager, yet cheeky Princia Ramode. Known as a very young pilot, she often held her own against veterans and clashed with Phoenix and Captain Falcon many times, despite always losing out against the bounty hunter in indigo. However, she was against someone who not only called himself Falcon's son, but dared to take same name of that racer. The Spark Moon was her weapon of choice--bearing similar traits to the Blue Falcon, but only differing in performance and weight.

"We shall see if you really are Falcon." She said to herself.

Once the lights turned green, Spark Moon and Falcon MK-II took off quickly, getting very close to the course's first sharp right. After conquering that, they were up with a road who gave two choices: a dash plate, or a ramp. Falcon MK-II instantly went for the dash plate and scored a tremendous leap in speed. However, he contested with a jagged zig zag, who also yielded a second dash plate.

Because of such impressive control and speed, Kent Akechi cleared the obstacle and then made his way through a pit zone. To his dismay, Princia took Spark Moon into the air, and landed on a section far ahead of him. His eyes grew wide in worry, as Princia took a dash plate.

Falcon MK-II had no choice but to follow. But then a large section with several dirt zones and glowing mine traps caught him. His impatience at wanting to catch up led him to taking a hit from one of the mines. But, it worked in his favor. The sudden burst of speed was not enough to match a dash plate, but he quickly combined it with his booster, and then rocketed past Princia.

The royal racer saw a a blue machine with a streak of fire and smoke from its rear, but that meant that Kent Akechi was speeding through. Princia smirked and assumed this was going to be a horse race. What she did next was really what brought a scare to the young pretender.

Spark Moon took advantage of its heaviness and slammed itself onto the left of Falcon MK-II. The sudden attack waned the blue machine's energy, and dangerously placed it close to the dirt, barely missing a mine trap along the way. Once they escaped the wide road, Spark Moon slid up in 1st, taking the lead in the one-lap duel.

Kent Akechi grew more paranoid, and needed to find a way to stop Princia before it was too late. After a very quiet 90-degree bend, they dealt with a road that had dash plates all over. The problem was finding on to touch first. The choice soon became clear for Akechi, but Princia bashed him to a guard rail, forcing him to miss the dash plate. However, Pricnica was the one who got it.

The self-proclaimed son of Falcon quickly began mashing the boost button, but for some reason, nothing was happening. He growled, trying to make it work as he could only rely on the last few dash plates. When the road straightened itself out, Kent Akechi's machine found nothing in front.

At least that what he thought.

Spark Moon came from a side in front, and then started spinning while moving in any possible place he would go. Princia not only conditioned him, but she also instilled fear in him. As he slammed the brakes, hoping not to run into her, his machine couldn't slow down in time. The swift spinning delivered a huge whack to Falcon MK-II, and sent it flying to a wall, where it was literally on its last legs. Unfortunately, he was also having a hard time starting up.

By the time he got going again, Princia was already over the finish line.
-------------------------------------

After the race, Kent Akechi got out of his machine and stifled a rage-induced scream.

Prinica chuckled a little, and rested atop her machine while waggling her finger at him. "You're no Falcon. Besides, even if you are his son, you didn't show me that you learned from Falcon. You obviously need to stop pretending and start practicing."

    "Y-you...just...shut it!"

"Getting mad at me won't make you better at F-ZERO."

    "You--"

Once Spark Moon left, Kent Akechi marched to his machine and then slumped down on it.
